Our product range is quite diverse starting from Mono Hull Boats, Commercial Crafts, Pump Barges, Jetties, Dumb Barges, Multi Hulls (Catamarans), Rescue Boats, Fast Rescue Crafts, Patrol Boats, Rubber Inflatable Boats, Work Boats, Speed Boats, Dive Boats and Pleasure Boats for various government and private organizations.
Cleghorn provides its customers expertise and turnkey-solutions from design, manufacturing and installation on various projects ranging from development of marine infrastructure such as development of water terminals on river banks, setting up of water sports facilities in lakes for various tourism departments, setting up of floating water intake facilities on lakes, reservoirs and rivers for various thermal power plants, water supply and irrigation departments.
Our yards have comprehensive and fully equipped workshops for metal, carpentry and composites. There are enclosed and climate controlled composite facilities and well-maintained stores. We have two manufacturing units located in Kolkata on Tolly Nallah and Uluberia on river Hooghly. We undertake manufacturing of FRP/GRP Boats (upto 11m) & Aluminium Boats (upto 7.5m) at our Kolkata yard. Steel vessels and Aluminium boats above 7.5m are manufactured at our facility in Uluberia. The Uluberia yard has highland ship-building berth from where vessels can be launched by a slipway. We also have facilities of highest quality manual & SMAW, MIG & TIG Welding. Trained & experienced mechanical fitters undertake fabrication & erection work to ensure quality ships being built under the inspection of National & International classification societies, Directorate of State IWTs within scheduled time.
